1 More Day!

We arrived safely in Shenyang, this is the city they call China's (San Francisco)- We were greeted by our tour guide, named Maggie. She is a such a sweet girl, so helpful and accommodating. I think we are all getting a little delirious from not enough sleep. 30 min to the hotel, Maggie gave us a rundown of tomorrow's events. We will have breakfast at 7:30 and then go to the Civil Affairs office to meet our little "Landon Bo." We can't wait! We have all analyzed every young Chinese boy on our way here, we are all trying to guess how big he will be. The referral pictures we have are over a year and half old, I'm sure he's changed a ton. It is a four hour drive from his home city-Dalian, so he is staying the night in Shenyang tonight with the orphanage director. We have been prepared by others to expect a difficult first couple of days, but we are also expecting God best in this situation. We are also expecting our friends the Ng's to arrive tonight. I'll share more about this later. They will arrive tonight around 11:00, but we need to go to sleep so we will see them in the morning. Sweet dreams my precious little one!! Tomorrow is a new day.

Michael and Makayla, I am having so many memories as I think about what you are experiencing. We are so excited for you. It really came alive when you mentioned that you were met by a guide named Maggie. I know there are more than one billion Chinese people, but we also had a guide named Maggie when we adopted JoHanna. We would love to see a picture of her - I wonder if by chance she is the same Maggie. Does she have long dark curly hair and glasses?

God bless you - we will be praying for you.

Mom! I'm so excited to see a new picture of him! Hopefully you will post a couple of them. You probably have him right now and all I can say is that I can't wait to see him. Love you! (and I miss you too).

Michael & Makayla,
I am so thankful that you started a blog so that we can follow your journey here in China.
We are praying for you this morning as you first meet Landon Bo and for those initial hours.
I'm hoping your first day is as easy as ours was with Ming.
Looking forward to pictures.

Makayla & Michael,
I too am very happy that you are doing a blog I will be following closely and praying for you all along the way! I have been praying that God would be preparing Landon's heart to receive his new family and this would be an answer to his heart's prayer. In any event, God has a plan for Landon and the entire Estoos family and this was all planned by Him long ago for you to walk in this good work. My prayer is that somewhere deep down in Landon's heart and soul that he would since God's divine direction and protection in his life.

I am praying for all of you! Please, keep us all posted. This is so exciting and I really want to be able to hold up your specific needs in prayer.

To God be the glory!!
